WORLD WATER DAY CELEBRATION, ENVIRONMENTAL TALK WITH FIREFIGHTERS FOR 6TH GRADE CHILDREN AT PUERTO POTRERO SCHOOL

Our commitment to water resources is vitally important and encompasses environmental, social, and cultural aspects. For this reason, we promote a sustainable culture to address the global water scarcity crisis. However, World Water Day was commemorated on March 22, 1993, by the United Nations (UN). Therefore, we celebrate this important date every year. As part of this, the Huacas Fire Department was invited to give a short educational talk to the sixth-grade children about the importance of water conservation and how forest fires affect our Guanacaste province.

The goal is to provide children with healthy, value-based entertainment, encouraging them to participate in traditional games and other activities that foster their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
